Waltham – Mr. Nicholas P. Jones, of Waltham, died on Wednesday October 9, 2019 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 34.

Nick was born on April 7, 1985, a son of Sharon A. (Moody) Jones of Waltham and the late Philip J. Jones. He was a lifelong resident of Waltham and was a graduate of Minuteman High School in Lexington. He worked as a talented mechanic at Pro-Cut in Waltham.

Nick had a warm heart and was always generous with his time and talent helping others. He loved to camp and special memories were made every Memorial Day weekend at Sebago Lake in Maine. Outdoor activities including skating and ice-fishing were favorite pastimes.

In addition to his mother, Sharon, he leaves his wife, Meghan K. (Sullivan) Jones; his brothers, P.J. Jones (Jessica) and Timothy M. Jones (Anne), all of Waltham; his nieces and nephews, Julia, Lenora, Jaclyn and Jack Jones and Bryleigh and Raury Feeley; his father-in-law, Michael Sullivan (late Susan) of Quincy and by his best buddy and devoted friend, Thomas Moores.

Family and friends will honor and remember Nick's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday October 14th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
