A long-time resident of Waltham, Noella worked at the Walter E. Fernald Development Center, General Wholesale and Grover Cronin. Shewas a homemaker and favorite babysitter for all the children she cared for. Noella so loved the Red Sox, even when they lost. Her favorite hobbies were cross stitch, reading, cooking and going out to eat with friends and family. She had a wonderful cheerful attitude about life. Her favorite expression was always “no problem.”
Born on December 21, 1941 in Waltham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Gerard Joseph Ouellette and the late Emilie (Casey) Ouellette. Noella was the sister of the late Gerard “Jerry” Ouellette.
Noella was married to Joseph S. Paolini for 56 years until his passing November 19, 2021. She loved her animals, notably her German Shepherd Lady Bug, her cat Sabrina and her dog Gretchen. Animals and babies naturally gravitated toward her warm, motherly nature. Noella was a graduate of Waltham High School. Noella was a devout Catholic and enjoyed watching the Mass and the Rosary on EWTN on a daily basis. It gave her a great sense of calm, especially when the Red Sox lost.
Noella leaves her cousins, Lenore Thompson of Waltham, Emma “Freddie” Hutchins of Franklin, Janice and husband Stephen Walsh of Florida, Margaret “Peggy” Barry of North Carolina, Jane Burr of TX. She also leaves her sister-in-law Eileen Ouellette of Plainville who will always miss her phone calls and weekly visits to see Noella. Noella
