Waltham - Mrs. Olande FanFan, of Waltham, died Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Life Care Center of Acton. She was 69. Olande was born on December 18, 1940 in Haiti, a daughter of the late Alogene and Chesna Dely and had lived in the United States since 1969. She worked for several years as a nurse's aide at McLean Hospital in Belmont and for the past ten years at the Walter E. Fernald School in Waltham. She leaves her daughter, Charlette FanFan of Boston; two brothers, Pastor Aurel Dely of Waltham and Pastor Etienne Dely of Haiti; five sisters, Therese Carrenard of Marlborough, Elmina McCullough of Nashua, New Hampshire, Christiana Rosemberg of Lowell, Germaine Jacques of Framingham, and Anise Lapaix of Malden and many nieces and nephews. Olande was the wife of the late Chavanne FanFan and sister of the late Alena Dely, Xavier Dely and Phelogene Dely. Family and friends will honor and remember Olande's life by gathering for calling hours at the Church of God, 525 Main Street, Watertown on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. when her funeral service will be held. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
