Mr. Oscar A. Teo, of Waltham, died on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 68.
Oscar was born on October 1, 1948 in Canoas, Guatemala, the son of the late Nicolasa Gonzalez y Gonzalez and Bernardo Teo Linares. For many years he worked in the construction industry building homes in Guatemala.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria Barrera, his children, Rosa Teo of Guatemala, Anibel Teo of Guatemala, Maria Teo of Guatemala, Carlos Teo of Acton, Bexna Teo of Guatemala, Luis Teo of Waltham, Cesar Teo and his wife, Bridget, of Waltham, William Teo of Guatemala and Caroline Teo of Waltham and is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Oscar's life by gathering for calling hours on Tuesday April 4th in Immanuel United Methodist Church, 549 Moody St., Waltham beginning at 6 p.m. Burial will take place in Guatemala.
