Fall River – Pamela A. Sullivan, of Fall River, died Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. She was 73.
Pam was born in Milton on September 22, 1944, a daughter of the late William and Vera (Scott) Sullivan. She worked at Prudential Insurance before attending Boston State College where she earned her bachelor's degree in nursing. Pam worked at Boston Medical Center for many years in obstetrical nursing, assisting birth and bringing new life into the world. She later worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plain and finished her nursing career in home healthcare.
Pam's greatest love was for her dogs. She always had at least two and they would always travel with her to the camper in Carver. She loved to travel, quilting and being with people. When help was needed, Pam was there. She mentored and took in foster children, trying to make a difference in their lives.
She leaves her brother and sisters, William Sullivan of Nevada, Vera Sullivan and Lois LaCapria, both of Florida, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Family and friends will honor and remember Pam's life by gathering to visit at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28th in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham before leaving in procession to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
