Patricia W. (Wall) Barber, of Hudson, formerly of Waltham and Floral City, Florida, died Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Artisan in Hudson. She was 87.
Patricia was born in Boston on October 13, 1934, the daughter of Albert Wall and Doris (Picard) Crespi. Raised in Somerville she graduated from Saint Clemens High School.
Patricia married Ronald B. Barber on New Year's Eve, 1954 at Saint Clements Church in Somerville. The pair settled in Waltham where they would raise their family. In 1991 the couple moved to Floral City, Florida and later Inverness where they immersed themselves in the community. They joined the historical society, gardening club, and made many friends and acquaintances. After Ronald's passing in 2009, Patricia returned to Massachusetts in 2016 to be closer to family.
In addition to the historical society and gardening club, Patricia was a member of the Saint Charles choir, enjoyed dancing, animals, collecting seashells, and enjoyed 50 happy summers in the Windmill at Taylor's Point on Cape Cod.
Patricia leaves her children, Sharon Barber of Strong, Maine, Charlotte 'Candy' Chapman (Paul) of Waltham, Albert Barber (Deborah) of Framingham, and Colleen Maye (Kevin) of Hudson; her grandchildren Rebecca Cooke (Michael), Jonathan Chapman, Melissa Maye (Ryan Queiros), Timothy Maye (McKenzie Remillard), and Thomas Maye; and four godchildren.
Funeral services for Patricia will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice benefiting animals.
