Patricia A. Chaisson

Patricia A. Chaisson, of Waltham, died Friday, November 3, 2023 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.  She was 81.

Pat was born in Waltham on February 19, 1942, the daughter of the late Peter and Jeanne (Lemon) Chaisson.  A lifelong resident, she was a 1960 graduate of Waltham High School.

Until her retirement Pat worked for more than fifty-five years in the circulation department at the Waltham Public Library. It was a job that she loved and where she made many lifelong friends.  She was a lifelong learner and read thousands of books of every variety.

She leaves many cousins and their families including Carol Byron and Ellen Gaudet.

Family and friends will honor and remember Pat’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, November 7^th from 2 to 4 p.m. and again at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
