Patricia A. Dunham

Waltham – Mrs. Patricia A. (Mitchell) Dunham, of Waltham, died on Tuesday, September 10th at home surrounded by her family. She was 68.

Pat was born in Fort Worth, Texas on December 21, 1944, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Ryan) Mitchell. She was raised in Concord where she graduated from Rose Hawthorne Academy. She furthered her education at the Youville Hospital School of Nursing where she graduated second in her class. On April 24, 1966 she married Wayne F. Dunham in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church and they've lived happily in Waltham since.

Besides her husband Wayne, she is survived by her daughters, Christine A. Dunham-Pierce and Colleen A. Dunham-Rayne; her grandchildren, Zachary and Olivia Rayne; her brother John F. Mitchell of South Yarmouth and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Paul Michael Mitchell.

Family and friends will honor and remember Pat's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, September 13th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
