Patricia A. Finney

Waltham – Mrs. Patricia A. (Connors) Finney, of Waltham, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the UMass Healthcare Alliance Hospital in Leominster. She was 79.

Pat was born in Waltham on August 24, 1931, a daughter of the late George and Ellen (Mahoney) Connors. She was a 1949 graduate of Rosary Academy and had worked until her retirement at the Flynn & Flynn Law Office in Waltham. She lived her entire life in Waltham before moving to Longboat Key, Florida several years ago and had recently moved to Lunenberg.

She leaves her husband Albert J. Finney, Jr.; her children, Noreen Finney of Marlboro, Thomas Finney of Sterling, William Finney of Hudson, Edward Finney of Waltham, Patricia Bontempo of Lunenberg and Robert Finney of Waltham; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will honor and remember Patricia’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, on Friday, May 20th, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
