Waltham— Mrs. Patricia A. (Cunningham) Foley, of Waltham, died Sunday, May 15, 2022 in Maristhill Nursing Home. She was 82.
Patricia was born in Waltham on December 7, 1939, a daughter of the late Patrick and Helen (Furdon) Cunningham. A graduate of Waltham High School with the class of 1959, she had worked at the former Waltham Hospital and more recently at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in the billing department until her retirement.
She enjoyed ceramics, playing bingo, and was active at the Waltham Senior Center with the Council on Aging. She and her husband, the late Charles G. Foley, were faithful communicants at Saint Mary's Church on School Street where she had served as a lector for many years.
In addition to her husband, Charles, she is reunited in Heaven with her daughter, the late Deborah Foley, and her brothers and sisters, William Cunningham, John Cunningham, Joseph Cunningham, Margaret Rackliff, Helen Cunningham and Noreen Rizza.
She leaves her son, Brian Davey of Hanover, her step-daughter, Kathleen Foley of Peabody and her brother, Paul Cunningham of Worcester.
Family and friends will honor and remember Patricia's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday morning, May 25th, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
