Patricia A. "Patti" Glovasky

Ms. Patricia A. “Patti” Glovasky, of Waltham, died Thursday, June 22, 2023 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 79.

Patti was born in Waltham on December 16, 1943, a daughter of the late Felix S. and Helen M. (Dolitka) Glovasky. A lifelong resident of the city, she was a Waltham High School graduate. She had worked as a computer programmer at Little, Brown Publishing in Waltham before her retirement.

Patti enjoyed bowling and was a member of the former Wal-Lex Women’s Bowling League.

She leaves her brothers, William P. Glovasky, of Norfolk, Robert E. Glovasky of Waltham, and Walter P. Glovasky of Ashland; her lifelong best friend, Maureen (Mahoney) Devoe of Waltham and several nieces, nephews and their families.

Patti was also the sister of the late Phyllis H. McGuinness and Felix S. Glovasky, Jr.

Family and friends will honor and remember Patti’s life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham, on Wednesday, June 28th at 10 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery.
