Patricia A. Kouyoumjian

Maynard - Patricia Ann (Young) Kouyoumjian, of Maynard, formerly of Waltham died at home on Friday, January 22, 2016. She was 80.

Patricia was born March 14, 1935 in Newton a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Caulfield) Young. Raised and educated in Waltham she married Ralph H. Kouyoumjian on June 30, 1953. Patricia worked in the office and mail room at the former BayBank in Waltham. She later worked in the cafeteria in the Waltham Public Schools and later in the Maynard Public School Systems. They lived many years in Waltham before moving to Maynard in 1996.

She enjoyed her family's passion for stock race car driving and races and music. Patricia loved Irish music, astrology,reading, and long walks as well.

Her son, Joseph Kouyoumjian died in 1983.

She leaves her husband of 65 years, Ralph; her children, Valerie Studley and her husband, Arthur of Charlton, Neil Kouyoumjian and Ralph Kouyoumjian, both of Maynard and Jason Kouyoumjian of Marlborough; her grandchildren, Kristie Forster, Chuckie McCarthy, Keiran Patry; her great-grandchildren, Elektra Febonio, Mavis Joliat, and Willow Forster; her great-granddaughter, Ashley Catlow and great-great grandson, Jaxon; her sister, Susan Clinton of Delaware, Maryland; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Patricia's life on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham where her graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm. There are no calling hours.
