Patricia A. MacNeill

Waltham – Mrs. Patricia A. (Gallagher) MacNeill, of Waltham, died Saturday, April 21, 2012 in The Golden Living Center in West Newton. She was 73.

A lifelong Waltham resident, she was born on August 11, 1938 a daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Stanley) Gallagher and was a graduate of Waltham High School. Patricia was an avid reader and had a special interest in colonial history and decor. She was also a talented cook.

She leaves her children, Steven R. MacNeill and his wife, Lisa, of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Terrence M. MacNeill and his wife, Tracy, of Newfields, New Hampshire, Robert P. MacNeill Jr., of Boston, Kathleen J. Russo of Waltham, Wendi E. MacNeill of Marlborough; her former husband, Robert P. MacNeill Sr., of Brockton; her brother, James Gallagher of Hudson; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia was also the mother of the late Tracey A. MacNeill and sister of the late Terrence E. Gallagher.

Family and friends will honor and remember Patricia's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, April 24th, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning when her funeral service will be held. Burial will be private.
