Patricia A. McDonnell

Orlando, FL - Mrs. Patricia A. (Grimes) McDonnell of Orlando, Florida died Tuesday, October 4, 2005 in the Florida Hospital–East in Orlando. She was 67. Born in Waltham, she had lived in Waltham and Wareham before moving to Florida five years ago. Mrs. McDonnell was employed as a secretary for M.I.T., and she had previously worked at Our Lady’s Parish, Thermo Electron, and Raytheon. She was the daughter of the late Charles P. and Rose M. (Campbell) Grimes and the sister of the late Kathleen M. Grimes. Mrs. McDonnell is survived by her sons, Michael J. McDonnell and David P. McDonnell both of Waltham; her grandchildren, Daniel, Shaun, and Meghan all of Burlington; her former husband, Michael McDonnell of Waltham; her brother, Charles T. Grimes and his wife Anne, of Orlando, FL; her sisters, Helen R. Smith and her husband Edward, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Rosemary Chiasson and her husband Richard, of Bellingham, and Ann M. Jenkins and her husband James, of Milford; seventeen nieces and nephews and twenty-four grand nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.
