Waltham - Mrs. Patricia M. (Greelish) Murphy, of Waltham, died suddenly on Monday September 27, 2010 at the William Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut. She was 75.

Pat was born in Boston on May 23, 1935, a daughter of the late Joseph P. and Irene S. (Sullivan) Greelish. She had lived for over fifty years in Waltham and was a homemaker. Pat was a 1953 graduate of Mount Trinity Academy in Watertown and a 1957 graduate of Regis College in Weston. She enjoyed traveling and spent many winters in Freeport, Bahamas.

She leaves her husband of fifty-one years, Philip F. Murphy; her son, Joseph P. Murphy and his wife, Katie, of Fairfield, California; her brother, Joseph P. Greelish of Bedford and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Pat’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Sunday, October 3rd from 2 to 5 p.m. and gain at 9 a.m. on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Belmont Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box, 14301, Cincinnati Ohio, 45250-0301.
