Framingham - Mrs. Patricia I. (Hauswirth) Ruebusch, of Framingham, formerly of Watertown, died Sunday, April 22, 2018 in Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham. She was 83.
Patricia was born in Boston on September, 13, 1934 and was raised in the Mission Hill neighborhood. She graduated from Jamaica Plain High School and worked for years as a switchboard operator, most recently at Joslin Diabetes Clinic in Boston.
On September 3, 1960 she married Cincinnati native and US Navy veteran Leo F. Ruebusch in Mission Church. The couple made their home in West Roxbury for a time before moving to Watertown where they belonged to Saint Patrick's Parish for thirty years. Their move to Framingham came sixteen years ago.
In addition to her husband of fifty-eight years, Leo, she leaves her daughter, Karen L. Stewart and her husband, Richard, of Framingham; her granddaughter Samantha L. Stewart who loving referred to her as 'Mimi'; and her dear cousin, Ellen Egan of Plymouth.
Patricia was also the daughter of the late Ruth (Nason) (Hauswirth) Lancaster and sister of the late William Hauswirth.
Family and friends will honor and remember Patricia's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday, April 25th from 3 to 7 p.m. and again at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday morning before leaving in procession to The Basilica and Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Mission Church), 1545 Tremont Street, Boston where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown.
