Paul W. Daniels

Mr. Paul W. Daniels of Waltham died Wednesday August 11, 2004 in the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Boston. He was 66. Born in Boston, a son of the late Harry and Marion (Grace) Daniels, he was the Chief of Security for many years at the Metropolitan State Hospital in Waltham before his retirement in 1995. He lived in Brighton for many years before moving to Waltham in 1971. He was a lifetime member of the Waltham Elks and a Former President of Local # 1313, AFL CIO. He was the brother of the late Harry Daniels. He is survived by his wife Maureen E. (Moran), three sons Mark D. Daniels and his wife Laura of Chelmsford, Paul W. Daniels of Andover and John T. Daniels and his wife Karen of Bedford, one brother James Daniels of Plymouth, and one sister Jean Melia of Florida. Also survived by four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donation’s may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
