Waltham- Mr. Paul M. Dennehy of Waltham died Tuesday February 17, 2004 at Epoch Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Weston. He was 72. Born and raised in Waltham, a son of the late Paul and Thelma (Jackson) Dennehy, Mr. Dennehy worked for many years for United Car Fastener in Newton and after that, worked as a shipper and receiver for Bentley College in Waltham until his retirement. Mr. Dennehy was a Past Exaulted Ruler of the Waltham Elks Lodge No. 953. He was a 1950 graduate of Waltham Vocational High School, where he was a member of the basketball team. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Dennehy was the brother of the late Walter Dennehy. He is survived by his children, Michael S. Dennehy, Paula M. Dennehy, Cathy M. Gallagher, all of Waltham, Joseph P. Dennehy of Billerica, and John M. Dennehy of Waltham; two brothers Ronald Dennehy of Waltham and Robert Dennehy of Plainville; three sisters, Eileen Kelly of Maynard, Thelma Cassella of Waltham and Joanie Laurence of Northboro; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, One Bromfield Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02180.
