Waltham- Mr. Paul J. Landry of Waltham died Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston. He was 69. Born in Waltham, a son of the late Eloi and Sabine (Gaudet) Landry, he was a lifelong resident. Until his retirement in 1998, Paul worked for 32 years as a machinist for the Raytheon Company in Waltham. He was also president of Local # 1836 for more than twenty years. Paul also served as master of ceremonies for many company sponsored Raytheon events. He was a member of the French-American Victory Club and a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #1018 in Waltham. From 1996 to 2004 he also served a member of the Waltham Housing Authority board. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and also performed volunteer work for Companies Who Care and had been a former coach and president of the Waltham Babe Ruth League. Paul was also a former producer, trustee, and director for Channel 8 Local Access Cable Television in Waltham. He was the brother of the late Eva McCumiskey, Alphee Landry and Joseph Landry. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia A. (Segien), his children, Paula J. Mazzapica of Rutland, Christine L. Landry and Linda M. Landry both of Waltham, Elizabeth M. Auger of Fall River, Richard J. Landry of Framingham, and John P. Landry of Waltham; three sisters, Catherine Kay Hache, Elizabeth Poirier and Louise LeBlanc all of Waltham; 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
