Paul E. Norris

Paul Edmund Norris, age 59, passed away on April 30, 2023 after a brief illness. He was born on March 11, 1964 in Waltham, Massachusetts to Jeanette Marie (Marifiote) Norris and the late Edmund Thomas Norris, Jr.

Paul was a 1982 Minuteman High School graduate, who studied plant engineering and played football while there. He also attended Northeastern University majoring in business management.

Paul had several careers he enjoyed. In his younger years, he was a drummer for the band, The Pact. He later became a Plant Engineer for many companies and then moved on to being a Sales and Finance Manager for Ford. He most recently loved being the Owner and Chef of Gracie’s Kitchen, an all-time favorite homemade catering company serving Waltham and surrounding towns for over 16 years. Paul also had a love for music, cars, motorcycles, traveling, long walks, drawing and food. 

Paul is survived by his wife, Grace of Waltham, his son Glen Savoy and wife Leslie of Bedford, daughter, Valerie Pineda and husband, Luis of Waltham, his mother Jeanette M. Norris of Waltham, his sisters, Karen M. Corinna and brother-in-law Donald Corinna of Milford, and Cheryl M. Mariano and brother-in-law Gerardo Mariano of Sherborn and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, family members and friends.

In addition to his father, the late Edmund Thomas Norris, Jr., he is also predeceased by his brother, the late Kevin M. Norris.

Family and friends will honor and remember Paul’s life by gathering for calling hours in the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main St. (Rte. 20), Waltham, on Thursday, May 4th, from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday morning where his funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
