Seminole, Florida - Mrs. Peggy (Chatalian) Bogosian, of Seminole, Florida, formerly of Needham Heights, died Monday, April 14, 2014 surrounded by her loving son Wane and the thoughts and prayers of her family at her sons residents in Seminole. She was 87.
Born in Lawrence, a daughter of the late Vahan and Veronica Chatalian, Peggy had lived in Needham Heights for seventy years with her loving husband Jasper. A graduate of Lawrence High School, she was a dietary aid at Hamilton House before her retirement. She was a driving force for a community wide effort for the traveling meals program as an illustrator and contributor for brochures distributed to Needham residents. These brochures contained information on available meals, relative health services and opportunities for volunteering. She was a long time member of the Carter Memorial United Methodist Church in Needham.
She leaves her devoted two sons, Jasper Bogosian, Jr., and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, of Needham and Wane Mark Bogosian; her grandchildren, Allison Mary Bogosian, Esq. and Amy Rachel Bogosian who served four years with the U.S. Army; her great grandson Gavin Jaruskal and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Peggy's life by gathering for calling hours on Friday, April 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham and again on Saturday morning where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Needham Cemetery.
