Sudbury - Mr. Peter M. Cannistraro, of Sudbury, formerly of Waltham, died Sunday, February 24, 2008 in the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. He was 53. Born in Chelsea, Mr. Cannistraro had lived in Waltham for many years until moving to Sudbury. He owned Sinclair Insurance Company in Waltham for twenty-five years. Mr. Cannistraro was a Waltham High School graduate, Class of 1972, and was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Sons of Italy in Waltham and was a musician, playing the bass with a local band. Mr. Cannistraro is survived by his best friend and fiance, Anna M. Bentley of Sudbury; his loving children, Louis M. Cannistraro and his wife, Jessica, of Westboro, Lisa M. Cannistraro and her fiance, Geoffrey Cantin, of Waltham, and Kristin L. Cannistraro of Sudbury; his beloved parents, Louis P. and Barbara J. (Parsons) Cannistraro of Waltham; his sisters, Lynn M. Osganian and her husband, Paul, of Waltham and Dawn M. Giovannucci and her husband, Mike, of Framingham. Mr. Cannistraro was very fond of and is survived by his dog, Gus. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Mr. Cannistraro was also the brother of the late Louis H. Cannistraro. The Funeral will be held on Thursday, March 6, at 10 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 11 a.m. Committal services will be held in the Newton Cemetery Chapel, 791 Walnut Street, Newton. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
