Peter P. Casey

Weston – Mr. Peter P. Casey, of Weston, died Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at his home. He was 79.

Peter was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, a son of the late Harry and Rose (Cardiello) Casey. He was a graduate of Saint John's Preparatory School and Saint John's University, both in New York City.

He had a long career as a successful realtor and was a longtime member of the National Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, serving as the organization's president in 2003 and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board.

A Weston resident for more than forty-five years he was active in town affairs and had been a member of the board of assessors. Peter was also an active participant for fifty plus years with the Boy Scouts of America.

He leaves his wife, Barbara P. (Brienza) Casey; his children, Peter Casey (Laura) of Portland, Oregon and Andrew Casey (Ingrid) of Woodenville, Washington, his grandson, Ryan Casey and his sister, Amelia Punzone of Long Beach, California.

Family and friends will honor and remember Peter's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday, July 18th from 4 to 7 p.m.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday morning in Saint Julia's Church, 374 Boston Post Road, Weston. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Weston.
