Weston – Mr. Philip Pagliazzo, of Weston, died Friday, December 22, 2017 at his home. He was 97.
Phil was born in Waltham on October 6, 1920, a son of the late Rosario and Josephine (Gorgone) Pagliazzo, and had been a resident before moving to Weston more than forty years ago. Throughout his life he was self-employed in all facets of the construction business and worked tirelessly to provide for his family.
The husband of the late Rose M. (Casella) Pagliazzo he leaves his children, Philip Pagliazzo, Jr. and his wife, Enes, of Waltham, Elaine Pagliazzo, Linda Boyes, and John Pagliazzo and his wife, Clare, all of Natick; his grandchildren, Robert Pagliazzo and his wife, Nancy, Rosanne Coady and her husband, Kenneth, Philip M. Pagliazzo and his wife, Jeaninne, Valerie DiGregorio and her husband, David, Richard Boyes and his wife, Ashley, Michael Boyes, Linda Marie Boyes, Elizabeth Boyes, Tyler Pagliazzo, Isabel Pagliazzo and Sophia Pagliazzo; his great-grandchildren, Craig, Olivia, Joseph, Ava, Valentina, Philip and Luca; his sister, Mary Campbell of Hooksett, New Hampshire and many nieces and nephews.
Phil was also the father of the late Richard T. Pagliazzo; father-in-law of the late Gilbert Boyes and brother of the late Salvatore Pagliazzo.
Family and friends will honor and remember Philip's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, December 26th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Julia's Church, 374 Boston Post Road, Weston, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Weston.
