Raffaela Mancuso

Waltham - Mrs. Raffaela (DiFiore) Mancuso of Waltham died Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Caritas Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Brighton. She was 98. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey a daughter of the late Joseph and Constantina (Carbone) DiFiore, she worked for many years in the marking room at Grover Cronin’s Department Store in Waltham. She had lived in Waltham for 62 years, and was a parishioner at Saint Charles Borromeo Church. She was the wife of the late Salvatore Mancuso and step-mother of the late Jennie Mancuso, and sister of the late Tony DiFiore and Tillie Ciampa. She leaves her daughter, Constance A. Mancuso of Waltham, her step-son, Alphonse Mancuso of Dedham and South Dennis, her step-grandchildren, Marcia Cormay, Lisa Salvo and John Mancuso; six step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
