Ralph L. Alden

Waltham – Mr. Ralph L. Alden of Waltham died Tuesday, December 14, 2004 in his home. He was 83. Born in Boston, Mr. Alden had lived in Waltham for over fifty years. He was a vice-president and superintendent of the Web Department of W.E. Andrews Fine Lithographers in Bedford. Mr. Alden is survived by his wife Lillian M. (Pedersen) Alden; his sons, Wayne L. Alden and his wife Charlene of Medford and Daniel J. Alden and his wife Elaine of Waltham; his grandchildren, Crystal, Michael, and Samantha Alden; his brothers, Max Johnson of Harwichport and Joseph Johnson of Billerica; his sisters, Georgia Manganis of Lowell and June Moreau of Lexington and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Frank and Marie (Pearson) Alden and the brother of the late Frank Alden. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery, Lexington. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
