Ralph DiDio, of Littleton, died on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Emerson Hospital in Concord. He was 60.
Ralph was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on February 27, 1964, a son of Geraldine Duchatelier DiDio and the late Cosimo DiDio. He immigrated to the States when he was seventeen and lived for years in Waltham before moving to Littleton in 1998.
He was educated in Haiti and earned an associate’s degree in engineering at UMass Lowell. Ralph worked as a mechanical engineer at Standard-Thompson Company in Waltham and after it closed held the same position for General Mills.
In addition to his mother, Ralph leaves his wife, Sambo Seb-DiDio; his children, Farah Correia, Vanessa DiDio-Pierre-Louis, Stephanie DiDio and Gihanah; his grandchildren, Ellisandra Correia, Eli and Marley Powell, Lucas, Leah, Lanah, Lucky and Lyanah Pierre-Louis and Alanni Varela; his brothers and sisters, Reginald and John DiDio, Florence Charles, Chantal Archer, Magda Jean Charles, Natacha Coleman and Gina, Johanne and Ingrid DiDio; many nieces, nephews and their families and his devoted canine companion, Juno.
Family and friends will honor and remember Ralph’s life by gathering for an Evening Wake on Friday, October 18th from 4 to 7 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham. Burial will be private.
