Mr. Raymond J. Doyle Jr., of Cambridge, died Sunday, January 19, 2020 in Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was 86 years old.

Raymond was born March 2, 1933 in Cambridge Massachusetts, the only child of the late Raymond J. and Alyce (Hastings) Doyle. Raymond was the husband of the late Elizabeth Katherine (Gould) Doyle. He is survived by nieces and nephews, including Katherine Hickson, George Darcy III, John Gould, Kathy Gould White, Jody Gould, Cheryl Fraser, Kevin Gould, and the late Janice Daly and Joyce Bittihoffer. Raymond is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews.

Raymond owned and operated various vending and cleaning companies throughout his career. His many hobbies and interests included model trains, his Studebaker cars, stamp collecting, dancing, reading and music.

Family and friends will honor and remember Ray's life by gathering to visit on Sunday, January 26th at 11 am in the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, followed by a funeral service at 12 noon. Burial in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ray's name may be made to the Cambridge Senior Center.
