Redmond F. Dunne

Waltham- Mr. Redmond F. Dunne of Waltham died Sunday August 19, 2007 in his home. He was 72. Born in Waltham, a son of the late Thomas and Nora ( Sullivan) Dunne, Redmond was the owner of Great Northern Tree Company in Waltham for many years and later worked for R and D Auto Sales. Redmond was a Korean War veteran serving with the U.S. Army He was the brother of the late Edward Dunne Redmond leaves one daughter Susan J. Alexander of Charlestown, Rhode Island, two grandchildren Arianna and Warren Alexander, one brother Thomas P. Dunne of Acton and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Redmond’s Funeral Mass on Friday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road Waltham. Burial will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Needham. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street ( Rte.20), Waltham.
