Richard lived in Jacksonville, Florida for 11 years before moving to Baltimore, Maryland 15 years ago. Richard's multitude of friends in Baltimore, from all walks of life, became his extended family.

A self-employed contractor, he was at his best working with concrete. Richard enjoyed working out daily, fast cars, motorcycles, fishing, baseball, football, movies (his favorite movie is, It's a Wonderful Life), casinos, cooking, concerts, loved dogs and long conversations about life, his strong faith in God and the universe.

After his retirement, he found purpose and fulfillment being a huge support system and mentor at Harbor City Unlimited in Baltimore. He invested his time in his passion to helping and inspiring others. He was Rich in compassion, Rich in giving, Rich in wisdom. Richard was truly an example of God's Love through man.

Richard's family will celebrate his amazing life privately. The family would find comfort if everyone who knew Richard would post a photo and a memory. Memorial donations may be made in Richard's name to the American Lung Association.

We love you to the moon and back! Your sense of humor and laugh will always make us smile. How lucky and proud are we to call you brother. You will always be loved and remembered. Thank you for being you.

You fill up my senses like a night in a forest,
like the mountains in springtime, like a walk in the
rain. Like a storm in the desert, like a sleepy blue ocean.
You fill up my senses, come fill me again.
