Richard F. Edmunds

Mr. Richard F. Edmunds, of Roslindale, formerly of Waltham, died Saturday, August 28, 2021 in Boston Medical Center. He was 82.

Richard was born on September 14, 1938 in Waltham a son of the late James F. and Margaret (Finnegan) Edmunds. A graduate of Waltham High School with the class of 1957 he was a longtime Waltham resident before moving to Roslindale in 2007.

He worked in shipping and receiving for various companies in the metro and Boston areas. An avid sports fan he faithfully followed all the New England sports teams.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings, Elizabeth Fay and Robert P. Edmunds.

He leaves his brothers, Gerard M. Edmunds and his wife, Priscilla and William D. Edmunds, both of Waltham and John T. Edmunds of Lowell; also survived by nieces & nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Richard's life by gathering to visit on Friday, September 3rd at 11 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by his Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
