Waltham Mr. Richard Edward Lindahl of Waltham died Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 62. Born in Torrington, Connecticut, a son of the late Clifford O. and Edna J. (Olson) Lindahl, he was a manager for over twenty years for Bank of America in Waltham. He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and he had been a member of the Waltham Elks Lodge # 953. Mr. Lindahl was an amazing man who loved his family and friends. He was an avid reader who loved to learn and travel the world. He enjoyed learning foreign languages and cultures, and was well known locally as an intelligent, quick- witted man who was also the friendly face in the room. He will be deeply missed by all. He is survived by his former wife Susan E. (Hudson); one son, Sean R. Lindahl of Altamonte Springs, Florida; one daughter, Erica A. (Lindahl) Nickerson of Orlando, Florida; one brother, C. Robert Lindahl of Venice, Florida; three grandchildren and three nieces. Funeral services will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham.
