Rita W. Kinch

Waltham – Mrs. Rita W. (Edwards) Kinch, of Waltham, formerly of Medford, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at Meadow Green Nursing Center in Waltham. She was 101. Born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, a daughter of the late James and Ethel (Colbert) Edwards, Rita was a lifelong resident of Medford before moving to Waltham seven years ago. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Church in Medford. Rita was the beloved wife of the late Russell A. Kinch and Merrill Dagle. Rita was the devoted mother of Jacqueline R. Giangrande and her husband, Rudolph, of Waltham and Dorothy W. Tuccelli and her husband, George, of Billerica; the loving grandmother of eleven, and great-grandmother of sixteen. She was also the sister of Harold Edwards of Nova Scotia and leaves many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
