Rita M. Roy

Waltham - Mrs. Rita M. (LeBlanc) Roy, of Waltham, died Friday May 19, 2006 at the Leland Home in Waltham. She was 88. Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, a daughter of the late Theotime and Celine (LeBlanc) LeBlanc, she had lived in Waltham since 1947. Until her retirement, Rita worked for over twenty years for the J.L. Thompson Company in Waltham. She was the wife of the late Aquila Roy and sister of the late Alyre LeBlanc, Leonie LeBlanc, Beatrice Melanson and Matilda Bourque. Rita is survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 8 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street Waltham. Burial will be in Memramcook, New Brunswick. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
