Rita P. Spellman

Waltham – Miss Rita P. Spellman, of Waltham, died Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Meadow Green Nursing Home, Waltham. She was 85. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Margaret T. (Donlan) Spellman, Rita was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Saint Charles High School in Waltham and until her retirement, worked as a clerk for the New England Telephone Company. Rita was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She leaves her sister, Catherine M. Spellman of Waltham; her nieces and nephews, Richard F. Casey of Watertown, Margaret L. Rago of Pocasset, Thomas J. Larner of Mashpee, Patricia M. Keough of Falmouth and Rita F. Morrell of Swansea and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Rita was also a sister of the late Joseph E. Spellman, Mary A. Larner and Alice C. Casey. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Saturday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
