Arlington Mr. Robert W. Beley of Arlington, formerly of Waltham, died Tuesday November 22, 2005 at the East Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Lexington. He was 73. Born in Boston he was raised and educated in Belmont and in Waltham. He worked as an independent truck driver for many years. He also worked in the Public Works Department in Arlington for 10 years. He was a resident of Waltham from 1956 to 1964 before moving to Arlington. He was a member of the Kiram Lodge of Masons in Arlington. During the Korean Conflict he served with the United States Army. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joan M. (Connolly) Beley of Waltham, five children, Cynthia A. Beley of Arlington, Diane E. Beley of Waltham, Erik W. Beley of Wilton, New Hampshire, Jacquelyn M. Cooney of Arlington and Wendy J. Cornell of Green Bay, Wisconsin; two sisters, Esther Hynes and Marie Ventura both of Woburn; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at 11 a.m. Monday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
