Waltham – Mr. Robert M. Brehm, of Waltham, died on Sunday, April 7, 2013 in the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Roxbury. He was 57.
Bob was born in Boston on June 8, 1955, a son of M. Shirley (LaFortune) of Waltham and the late Bernard V. Brehm. After graduating from Waltham High School in 1973 he served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his service, Bob went on to study and graduated from Bentley College in Waltham. He worked for a number of years as a sales representative and account manager for manufacturers.
Besides his mother he is survived by his siblings, Judith A. Luciano and her husband, Manny, of Millis, Janet Brehm of Williams, Oregon, Richard J. Brehm and his wife, Grace, of Waltham and Jeffrey A. Brehm and his wife, Darlene, of Dover, New Hampshire. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Bob's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, April 9th, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
