Robert J. Hughes

Waltham - Mr. Robert J. 'Bobby' Hughes, Jr., of Waltham, died Sunday, October 22, 2006 in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. He was 38. Born and raised in Waltham, a son of Catherine H. (Dunlea) Hughes of Waltham and the late Robert J. Hughes, Bobby had worked as a mechanic for the M.B.T.A. since 1992. He was a graduate of Waltham High School, Class of 1986. Bobby was a member of the Watertown Yacht Club, enjoyed boating and was a NASCAR fan. In addition to his mother, he leaves two sisters, Elizabeth J. Hughes of Malden and Suzanne M. Hughes of Waltham and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Christ Episcopal Church, 750 Main Street, Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street(Rte.20), Waltham.
