Robert MacLennan

Waltham – Mr. Robert MacLennan, of Waltham, died Thursday, March 30, 2006 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 91. Born in Quincy, a son of the late Alexander and Annie (McKenzie) MacLennan, he worked for many years as a printer’s machinist for MacLennan Brothers until his retirement in 1987. He was a World War II veteran serving with the United States Army. He was the husband of the late Domenica Mary (Pintabona), and brother of the late Donald, John, George, Norman, and Roderick MacLennan. He leaves two daughters, Anne MacLennan Perkins of Nantucket and Birdie MacLennan of Winooski, Vermont; one granddaughter Dominika Perkins and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to The Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226
