Waltham – Mr. Robert E. Nadolny, of Waltham, died Saturday January 11, 2020 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington. He was 56.
Bob was born and raised in Waltham and was a 1981 graduate of Waltham Vocational High School. He worked for years as a talented finish carpenter and cabinet maker before joining Local 25 of the Teamsters Union and became a driver for the Boston Globe.
He was a loyal fan of the Bruins and Patriots and loved family trips to Disney. Sixties rock-n-roll music could always be heard on his radio as his truck traveled the early morning streets of Boston.
He leaves his wife, Lisa J. (Pollert) Nadolny; his sons, Robert E. Nadolny, Jr. and Stephen J. Pollert, both of Waltham; his father, Ziegmond R. Nadolny (Carol) of Lawrence; his brother and sister, Mark Nadolny of Waltham and Lisa Nadolny of San Diego, California and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Bob was also the son of the late Helen M. (McCarthy) Nadolny.
Family and friends will honor and remember Bob's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, January 14th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning where his funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Watertown.
