Waltham- Mr. Robert E. Pratt of Waltham died Friday January 7, 2010 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 90.

Bob was born in Waltham on April 15, 1920, a son of the late Clarence and Marie (LeBlanc) Pratt and was a lifelong resident of Waltham. He was a machinest for thirty-four years at the Nichols Company in Waltham until his retirement. After graduating in1938 from Saint Charles High School in Waltham he went on to serve with the United States Army during World War II.

He leaves his brother Richard Pratt and his wife, Agnes, of Bonita Springs, FL, and his brothers and sister- in-law, Gladys Pratt of Florida, John Mullaney and his wife, Hilda, of Centerville, Dick and Pat Boulton of Wilmington, and Bob Drew of Marlborough. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bob was the husband of the late Dorothy M. (Mullaney) Pratt and brother of the late Frederick Pratt and Genevieve Drew.

Family and friends will honor and remember Bob’s life by gathering for visitation in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by his Funeral Services at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
