Robert L. Scafidi

Auburndale – Mr. Robert L. Scafidi, Jr. of Auburndale died Saturday, June 11, 2016 in Needham. He was 44.

Bob was born in Newton on September 30, 1971, a son of Viola M. LeBlanc of Auburndale and Robert L. Scafidi of Nashua, New Hampshire. He lived in Waltham for a number of years and was a graduate of Waltham High School.

He worked as a mechanic at the former Frost Cadillac in Newton and did repairs on Harley Davidson motorcycles. Most recently he worked at North Street Garage in Newton.

In addition to his parents Bob leaves his daughter, Selena M. Beninati; his sisters and brother, Lisa Beninati and her husband, James of Nashua, New Hampshire, Leah White and her husband, Chris of Punta Gorda, Florida, Amanda Scafidi of Waltham and Joshua Scafidi of Lowell and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends will honor and remember Bob's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday, June 20th from 5 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
