Robert L. Williams

Waltham – Mr. Robert L. Williams of Waltham died Thursday January 29, 2004 in his home. He was 75. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, a son of the late Lathaniel and Maggie (Young) Williams, Mr. Williams was a sales associate at Home Depot in Waltham. Mr. Williams had a degree in Mechanics and also worked for 26 years at Ellison Park Sunoco Station on Main Street in Waltham. Mr. Williams was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Williams was the brother of the late Benny Williams, Pauline Williams and Toodie Holmes. He is survived by his wife, Anne Marie (Duchatellier) Williams, one daughter, Betsy Sharpe of Savannah, GA; one step-son, Gary Coutard of New Mexico; one step-daughter, Christina Coutard of Waltham; 2 brothers, Ike and David Williams both of Savannah, GA; 4 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 10:45 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 11 a.m. Burial will take place later in the week in Savannah, Georgia. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the Funeral Mass from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
