Robin J. 'RJ' (Hansen) Eaton

Waltham – Mrs. Robin J. 'RJ' (Hansen) Eaton, of Waltham, died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at her home. She was 62.

RJ was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 21, 1954, a daughter of Geraldine (Snow) (Hansen) Verhoeven and the late Darwin Hansen. She was raised in Jackson, Michigan where she graduated from Parkside High School.

She graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and before moving to Waltham had lived in Cambridge and in Arlington for a number of years. RJ was a patient activities coordinator for New England Rehabilitation Hospital in Woburn.

In addition to her mother she leaves her husband, Edward L. Eaton, her step-children, James Eaton and his wife, Lyndsay, of Waltham and Eric Eaton of Belleview, Florida and her step-grandchildren, Zachary and Alexander Eaton.

RJ was also the sister of the late Doan Hansen.

Family and friends will honor and remember RJ's life by gathering for calling hours from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 16th in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham where funeral services will be held at 6 p.m.
