Lexington – Mr. Roger L. Chittenden, of Lexington, died Monday, June 25, 2012 in his home. He was 66.
Roger was born in Pittsfield on November 10, 1945, a son of the late King and Ruth (Jones) Chittenden, and had lived in Waltham for most of his life before moving to Lexington twenty years ago. He loved listening to all sorts of music, watching sports on television and having stories read to him.
He leaves his brother, Wayne K. Chittenden, and his wife, Connie, of San Carlos, California; his sister, Amy R. Toran and her husband, Daniel, of Falls Church, Virginia; his nieces and nephew, Jennifer Sargent and her husband, Jonathan, David Toran and Lynne Cassone; his grandnieces and nephews, Gabriel Cassone, Ada, Jacob and Anna Sargent and his friends, housemates and caregivers at his Lexington home.
Family and friends will honor and remember Roger's life by gathering for his funeral service on Thursday, June 28th, at 10 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in Hancock Cemetery, Hancock, Massachusetts.
