Waltham – Mr. Ronald L. Biggins, of Waltham, died Saturday, August 25th, 2018 in Meadow Green Nursing Home in Waltham. He was 83.
Ron was born in Waltham on February 23, 1935, a son of the late Raymond L. and Cecelia E. (Sullivan) Biggins, and had been a lifelong resident. During the Korean War he served with the United States Army and after his discharge joined the United States Air Force serving until 1961.
He spent his career traveling the world as a seaman with the Merchant Marines until his retirement.
Ron is survived by his brother, Joseph F. "Jay" Biggins, of Waltham.
He was also a brother of the late Raymond W. Biggins, William F. Biggins, and Margaret Haynes.
Family and friends will honor and remember Ron's life by gathering on Tuesday, September 4th, at Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham where graveside services will be held at 11 a.m.
