Waltham Mr. Ronald B. Morrell, of Waltham, died Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Lahey Clinic, Burlington. He was 73. Born in Boston, a son of the late Ernest and Mary (Cobb) Morrell, he worked for many years as a superintendent for the Metropolitan District Commission golf courses. He was a former teacher and football coach for many years at Matignon High School in Cambridge and recently enjoyed working at Watch City Cigar in Waltham. During the Korean War he served with the United States Marines Corps. He was the brother of the late Paul Morrell, Warren Morrell and Marilyn Hurley. He is survived by his wife, Josephine A. (Malloy) Morrell; one daughter, Kathleen McKenna and her husband, David, of Wayland; one son, Paul J. Morrell and his wife, Kelly, of Stoughton; his grandchildren, Kade, Maggie, and Beau McKenna, and Jesse and Halle Morrell; three sisters, Dorothy Garland of Florida, Carol Morrell of Watertown, and Paulette Farry of Plymouth and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Patricks Cemetery, Watertown.
