Ronald F. Sliney

Amesbury - Mr. Ronald F. Sliney of Amesbury, formerly of Waltham, died Tuesday November 22, 2005 in Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. He was 71. Born in Belmont, a son of the late Thomas and Hazel (Kelly) Sliney, he was a member of the V.F.W. in Waltham. He was also a Korean War veteran serving with the United States Air Force. He was the husband of the late Rose A. Sliney and brother of the late Paul Sliney. He leaves his children, Ronald T. Sliney of Providence, Rhode Island, Roseanne Sliney of Newton, Angela Saulnier and her husband, Bob, and Gina Mola and her husband, Michael, all of Waltham; two brothers, Thomas Sliney of Waltham and Richard Sliney of Watertown; one sister, Maryellen Hart of Clinton; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be offered Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham. Burial will be in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown. Visiting hours will be held Monday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, from 3 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, One Bulfinch Place, Boston, MA 02114.
