Rosalie R. Manero

Waltham – Miss Rosalie R. Manero of Waltham died Thursday, January 22, 2004 at Larchwood Lodge Nursing Home, Waltham. She was 91. Born in Lexington, a daughter of the late Santo and Antonia (Algeri) Manero, she was a lifelong resident of Waltham. Until her retirement she owned and operated Rosalie Manero Hairdressing Salon in Waltham for many years. She was a graduate of Saint Mary’s High School in Waltham and had been a member of Sacred Heart Church Women’s Guild and the Waltham Business and Professional Women’s Club. She leaves her brother, Charles S. Manero of Stow; two sisters, Angelina R. Badger and Josephine Attardo, both of Waltham and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and many dear friends. She was also a sister of the late James Manero and Concetta Casella. The Funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Tuesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
