Littleton - Mr. Rosario Cannistraro, of Littleton, died surrounded by his family on Friday, November 30, 2007 in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. He was 69. Mr. Cannistraro was born in Waltham where he lived before moving to Littleton in 1966. He retired from the Stop and Shop Company after 45 years of service. Mr. Cannistraro was a Vietnam War veteran serving with the United States Navy. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Westford and the Knights of Columbus in Pensacola, Florida. He was the son of the late Peter M. and Frances (Alfano) Cannistraro and a brother of the late Charles and Carmen Cannistraro. Mr. Cannistraro is survived by his wife, Sheridan (Salter) Cannistraro; his children, Ann Hill and her husband, Jim, of Upton, Tracy Moore and her husband, Jimmy, of East Falmouth, Christopher Cannistraro and his wife, Susan, of Concord, Mark Cannistraro and his wife, Lori, of Chelmsford, and Derek Cannistraro and his wife, Kristin, of Eastham; his siblings, Catherine Camerto of Newtonville, Louis Cannistraro of Waltham, Joseph Cannistraro of Watertown, and Rosemarie Marqus of Watertown; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Wednesday at 10 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 2 p.m. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
